On your device

Cuearo stores scripts, versions, presets, practice sessions and videos in the app’s private storage. We do not run a server that receives this content. There is no Cuearo account, advertising SDK or behavioral analytics SDK.

Audio rehearsals are stored on your device and excluded from library and device backups. Share recordings to keep another copy.

Camera and microphone

Camera access is requested for recording or document scanning. Microphone access is requested for recording or voice following. You can revoke access in iOS Settings. Reading a script does not require either permission.

Speech recognition

Voice following and captions use Apple’s on-device speech recognition with on-device processing required. If a language or device does not support it, the feature reports that it is unavailable instead of sending audio to a cloud service.

Nearby remote

Remote control uses an encrypted local connection. You enter a pairing code and approve the controller on the reader. The remote exchanges control messages and connection heartbeats, not your script or video.

Purchases

Apple processes payments using your Apple Account. Cuearo checks signed StoreKit transactions to enable Pro. We do not receive your payment card details. Restore purchases to use an eligible purchase on another device with the same Apple Account.

Backups and sharing

A library backup contains scripts, folders and reader presets. Videos are excluded from automatic device backups to avoid copying large files; export them to Photos or Files to keep another copy. Exported or shared content is handled by the destination you choose. iOS may include the rest of the app’s data in device backups according to your system settings.

Cuearo does not include automatic library sync between devices.

Delete your data

Delete individual scripts and takes in the library. Removing the app removes its local data. Copies that you exported, saved to Photos or included in system backups remain in those locations until you remove them there. Deleting the app does not cancel an Apple subscription.

If you email us for help, we receive the address and information you choose to include so we can respond. Send only what is needed to describe the issue; you do not need to share private scripts or recordings.

Visits to this website are covered by the Decods website privacy policy. Apple services, backup destinations and apps you share content with are governed by their own policies.
