1. 02 Prepare and import scripts

   Write or paste a script in the editor, or import a supported TXT, DOCX, RTF or PDF file. Review the imported text before rehearsing; formatting and scanned documents can affect the result.

   The free version includes three scripts, unlimited reading and rehearsal, and repeatable video or audio takes up to 30 seconds without a watermark. Pro unlocks an unlimited script library and longer recording.

2. 03 Make reading comfortable

   Adjust the reader’s text size, spacing, reading width and pace. Use manual or automatic reading, add bookmarks to return to passages, and mirror the text when using a teleprompter setup.

3. 04 When voice following is unavailable

   Voice following and captions require on-device speech recognition support for the selected language and device. Check microphone and speech recognition permissions in iOS Settings. If Cuearo reports that recognition is unavailable, use manual or automatic reading.

   Clear speech and a quiet environment help. Recognition is not guaranteed to follow every word or skip correctly to a distant part of a script.

4. 05 Camera and recording

   Free video and audio takes are saved automatically at 30 seconds. You can repeat takes and export them without a watermark. Cuearo Pro allows longer recordings. Check camera and microphone permissions in iOS Settings and ensure your device has available storage. Export important takes to Photos or Files to retain a separate copy.

5. 06 Restore Pro

   Open Cuearo’s Pro purchase screen and choose Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account as your original purchase. If a purchase is still unavailable, include the purchase type in your support message. Do not send your password or payment card details.

6. 07 Cancel a subscription

   Manage monthly or yearly plans through your Apple Account subscription settings. Follow Apple’s cancellation instructions (opens in a new tab). Removing Cuearo from your device does not cancel the subscription. Lifetime is a one-time purchase, so it has no recurring payment to cancel.

7. 08 Back up and move your work

   Export a library backup for scripts, folders and reader presets. Recordings are not part of that library backup. Export audio and video takes separately through the available sharing options.

   Cuearo does not automatically sync the library between devices. Keep another copy of important work before removing the app or changing devices.

8. 09 Privacy and permissions

   Read the Cuearo privacy policy for details about local storage, on-device recognition and sharing. Revoke camera, microphone, speech recognition or local-network access in iOS Settings when needed.
