About these terms
Kleivo is a video editor provided by DECODS LLC, 1621 Central Ave #8709, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States. Contact: help@decods.com. These terms explain use of Kleivo and its support resources.
Your app licence
The App Store edition is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). This page does not replace that licence or submit a custom EULA. The Standard EULA governs the app licence; mandatory consumer protections continue to apply.
The current release
Kleivo 1.0 is free to use, with no account, advertisements, subscription or in-app purchase. Kleivo does not add a watermark to exported videos. Your own internet provider or external services may charge for their services. No payment details are requested by Kleivo.
Any future paid offering would be disclosed separately before purchase. These terms do not enrol you in any paid service or authorise a future charge.
Your media and responsibilities
You retain the rights you have in the media and edits you create. Decods does not acquire ownership of your projects. Import, edit and share only content you own or have permission to use, including music, images, video, text and recordings of other people. Using Kleivo does not grant rights to someone else’s content.
Kleivo does not provide a licensed music catalogue, host a public feed or publish your work automatically. You choose the destination when you share. That destination’s terms and privacy practices apply to the copy it receives.
Local storage and backups
Your project and a finished video export are separate files. Keep independent copies of important work. Use Export Project to preserve an editable package and save it outside the app before removing or reinstalling Kleivo.
Deleted projects remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days and can be permanently removed earlier. Expired projects are removed when app cleanup next runs. Exports, files shared elsewhere, device backups and cloud-provider copies are managed separately. Support cannot remotely recover content that existed only on your device.
Permissions and feature availability
Microphone access is used for voiceovers, Speech Recognition for captions from speech, and add-only Photos access for saving finished exports. Recognition runs on-device and depends on supported languages and device capability. Review generated captions and their timing before publication.
Formats, export options and performance depend on the source media, device, operating system and available storage. A cloud-stored file may need to download before editing. Kleivo is not a backup service and does not guarantee that every media format or device can support every editing option.

Updates and your rights
We may update the app and these pages as features or requirements change. The date above identifies this version of the terms. Nothing on this page removes any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you. Warranty, liability and licence provisions are governed by the Standard EULA and applicable law; these pages do not add a separate arbitration requirement or a new liability cap.
